Are you an NDIS provider?
I am not registered with the NDIS Commission and at present have no intention of pursuing NDIS registration. If you are a self-managed or plan-managed NDIS participant, you can choose to work with me even though I am not a registered NDIS provider. However, if you are NDIA-managed, you must use registered providers to receive services.
How do I book a session with you?
First, contact me through the website or by email. Once we have negotiated a time and day, I’ll send you the details for payment and a counselling consent form. Please kindly note, your session is not confirmed until I have received payment, which can be made through Paypal or with a debit or credit card. You will need to return your signed counselling consent form prior to our first session.
Do I have to come to your office?
All sessions are online, offered through zoom or google meet, meaning there is no need for you to attend my office in person. We can work together wherever you are in the world, so long as you have stable internet, and a safe and quiet place to be during the session. Please note that for safety reasons I will need to know your precise location.
What is your cancellation policy?
When you book a session, it means someone else in need is not able to attend at that time. While I try to be flexible for people who are genuinely unable to attend their scheduled session, I also have to protect my own time. Guidelines for per-session cancellation fees are:
more than 48 hours notice = no cancellation fee
between 24 and 48 hours notice = cancellation fee of 50%
between zero and 24 hours notice = cancellation fee of 100%
Are you in any way affiliated with Shalom House?
Not in any way. Shalem Bayit is not a faith-based organisation.
But I am **insert religion/spirituality**. Will you be sensitive to that?
Certainly. I work often with people of a whole range of beliefs and practices. That said, I reserve the right to challenge harmful beliefs of any sort, and this includes harmful religious and spiritual beliefs.
